I'm about done with QB. They sent me a message about using QB Cash which would allow my payments to not have any "transfer fees". It sounded good and thought it might save me a few bucks every month. I just assumed the money would still be going into my checking account. Big NO on that. They actually set up an account that turns out to be Green Dot bank. They say they are sending you a debit card. I only realized after I checked my business account and it was 12k down from where I expected it to be. I went to transfer my money out of this QB cash, but found that even though I had set up my bank account in my merchant account, I now had to go through the whole process again with QB cash. Of course they say that can take 3-5 business days, and then the actual transfer can take 3-5 business days effectively making it two weeks before I could get access to my money. The debit card never showed up and I have now requested a replacement 3 times. A month later, still no debit card. I called Green Dot to initiate a wire transfer and would even pay a fee for it, but they told me they don't do that. I finally filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve against Green Dot. I really thought it would go into the great void, like where socks go in the dryer, but to my surprise, it worked. My money "magically" showed up in my checking account the next day, and I got an email from both Green Dot and the Fed following up. I'm guessing that most people don't know you can file a complaint with the Fed, so when they get one, they get real excited about having some real work to do. Anyway, I'd warn you to turn down the QB Cash offer if you get it, unless you don't mind doing all your banking through Green Dot bank.
