It is a staging site for some of my equipment. I am building Google Fiber in SLC and we have a place to dump our vac ex and our volumetric mix truck. I have my aggregate there. Just don’t want to lose batts, wires, radiators etc.
I bought a wifi camera today off of Amazon for about $50 that looks like it will do the deal. Then this little hotspot and hologram. Some batts and solar panels and we are good to go. Lots of these things around town www.liveviewtech.com Going to emulate it with an old trailer, job box. two sections of 25G. Solar panel, camera, blue blinking light at the top. There are probably 3-4 of these liveviewtech things within a 4 block radius. So the badguys probably know what they are. The parking lot of Lowes has two of them. Lots of their inventory is stored out in the parking lot. But they are $25K each / $1500 per month. I can fake it for under $500 using the junk I have laying around. Theft of equipment? Theft of material? Vandalism? Around here, any construction site, the very first thing that goes in at the site is a wooden pole with a big ole' Solar panel on it, and 1-3 cameras at the top. I can't tell if they just record video locally, or if it's sending it somewhere else. But every construction site has one, and I can't imagine all these guys are all coming up with this setup on their own, as they all look surprisingly standard across the different sites and companies. You may be able to put their SIM in a device that does not have their software possibly and get around this. I have read about it but not tried it on my devices.
