star beating them every day. the ones who can take the most beatins, make
them regional team leaders. give each team leader a tower hand and two
techs to manage, reassign the techs and tower hands as needed. team leader
would need to not only take the beatings but be able to manage the jobs,
identify the strengths and weaknesses his team has, request staff resources
where the shortcomings are. let them know the beatings will continue until
morale improves.
Basically, while beating you most compensated guy, you offer him the staff
resources to complete what he needs. The more productive he is, the better
compensated staff resources hes allotted. Eventually the low compensated
idiots get shifted out the door
