Seems to me like you're almost always going to be a lot better off just using 80ghz (or even 60ghz, depending on requirements)... I guess if you need more than 10Gbps it might make sense, but otherwise, it seems like playing with this stuff is just going to cause a lot of unnecessary headaches.
