DOCSIS cable modems cannot be managed with TR-069
per the Cable Labs specifications. However
embedded router (e-router) can as well as e-MTA.
I'm using Friendly Technologies (on-premise, not
cloud) but mainly for collecting WiFi statistics
and troubleshooting (including Calix ONTs), not
provisioning. They have a cloud-based demo
platform that you can point your device to for testing.

Anyone use it? We used it for our fiber
deployment but most of it is already
managed. But we will be adding a new line of
Docsys gateways out there we want to control and
will not integrate with Calix's servers. They
won't support them either as it is only in their
best interests to support their own
devices.. There are a couple open sourced ACS
servers out there but nothing that seems user
friendly enough for our staff to use.Â
Anyone recommend any software, that is
reasonable and easy to use? Online services etc?
