It would have been kind of the installer to bury a locate wire alongside the pipe…..or leave a map.

If I use a plug at the spigot with a nail in it for my positive probe wire and the same for a ground elsewhere in the water circuit, it is possible to get a detectable signal on a utility locator? im assuming since submarines have to surface to communicate my question has long since been answered
