Let be slightly more specific. All of powinjector or rackinjector devices can do an Amp per pair of pairs. So if you're using a 4 pair power scheme that is 2A per port or 96W if you're using 48V. Two pair schemes are limited to 1A per port and 24V provides half the wattage.
All of our power inputs are rated at 10A. So if you have 16 ports in a rackinjector each taking just under 2A you'll need to split them evenly between the three input ports. I don't know any radios that need the full 2A. Most top out at 750mA per pair of pairs so you could at most have 24A total on a rackinjector. On the powerinjectors, at 2A max per port x 4 ports, you're under 10A so you don't need to split the inputs. It is better to try to split the ports between the two inputs just because you end up with less voltage drop and heat generation if you do so. - Forrest On Thu, Jun 5, 2025, 4:50 AM Forrest Christian (List Account) < [email protected]> wrote: > Per port. > > - Forrest > > On Wed, Jun 4, 2025, 1:45 PM Tyson Burris <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Is that 90W across all 4 ports (total) or per port? >> >> >> >> >> >> *Tyson Burris* >> *President & CEO* >> >> >> >> Internet Communications Inc (ICI) >> >> 739 Commerce Dr. Franklin, IN 46131 >> <https://www.google.com/maps/search/739+Commerce+Dr.+Franklin,+IN+46131?entry=gmail&source=g> >> >> >> >> >> [image: Mobile mobile-icon]317-412-1540 (emergency/after-hours) >> [image: phone phone-icon]317-738-0320 (office) >> [image: Email email-icon] [email protected] >> [image: website website-icon] www.surfici.net >> >> >> >> >> >> *Fixed Wireless Broadband - PtP/PtMP Solutions – Indoor/Oudoor Wifi - IP >> Cameras - Fiber – MDUs * >> >> >> >> *Active Member To The Following**:* >> >> >> >> WISPA <http://www.wispa.org/> >> >> NBBC <http://www.nbbc.coop/> >> >> >> >> Confidentiality Notice: >> >> >> >> This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and >> intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are >> addressed.
