I haven't tested it, but I'd guess they can handle a little above 30v - not
much though. They definitely will not work on 48v... I have unintentionally
tested that a few times.

But yeah, if you're getting that much drop on the stock 30v power supply,
you probably need a higher amperage power supply... Ideally something
adjustable that you can go a bit higher than 30v with to compensate for the
voltage drop.
