Libertarianism is my default stance, but it pretty much always runs head
first into reality when you try to apply it to policy.  I would be all for
open immigration, but that can't be done when the state provides social
welfare benefits.  Open trade is awesome, but true free market trade with a
communist country that imposes control on the means of production is
impossible. On and on and on...  "Libertarian" policies are not applicable
in the real world.
