I'm using Windows mail from Windows Vista "hacked" for Windows 7. My mail archive is about there - 32.3 gig, dating back to when I became a WISP in 2004....
Of course i have 4 other businesses in my mail program too... ----- Original Message ----- From: Chuck McCown via Af To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 8:55 AM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments Windows Live Mail. It was what replaced Outlook Express. I like it for most things. But nothing is very good at gracefully handling my 40 GB mail archive. -----Original Message----- From: Paul McCall via Af Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 7:53 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments What is WLM ? -----Original Message----- From: Af [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ken Hohhof via Af Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 9:49 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments Not sure what you mean by "displayed FROM field". My email client (WLM) displays what's in the header, I would assume that's typical. What else would it display? I was responding to your statement that the From address wasn't the sender on the old list either. It was. -----Original Message----- From: Paul McCall via Af Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 8:10 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments Yes, I agree that was in the header. I was referring to function (displayed FROM field and the replied TO field). Sorry if I wasn’t clear. That was part of a longer conversation that explained the context -----Original Message----- From: Af [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ken Hohhof via Af Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2014 9:06 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments I looked at the headers of an email Bill sent via the old list and here is the From: header: From: Bill Prince <[email protected]> -----Original Message----- From: Paul McCall via Af Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2014 10:14 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [AFMUG] LIST: Overnight adjustments The From address wasn’t the sender on the old list either. However, it does not show their email address... we can add that back into the body of the message I believe. That is how we had it yesterday, but the upgrade "undid" that. Thanks!
