So the missing part doesn’t explain why it doesn’t work. It came with a guarantee, so I’ll send it back to the seller.

I haven't tested others, but I know 100 will function just fine without it. In a pinch I remove them to fix ethernet errors. I think this is the right part number if you wanted to replace it.
