The trouble is the primary comptetion (Time Warner Cable) does free installs and then lets you go 90 days before they shut you off.

I have to try not to be a meaner guy than them.

meh too much work.

get payment upfront for as much as possible (install and first month) bill ahead for the month instead of behind and turn off service quickly for non-payment.

credit checks are too expensive and bothersome.
