Is the 3 day rule to cancel door-to-door sales just a state law, or federal?

If you change your mind during the cooling off period, do they have to come and
de-install it?

While I’m not implying any malicious intent, this does sound like a way to
prevent elderly folks from changing their mind after talking to friends and
relatives, it’s installed within an hour of signing the paperwork. Kind of
like the guys who knock on your door and claim they have a truckload of mulch
or firewood or paintings left over from a delivery in your neighborhood and
will sell it cheap if you pay them cash.

I've watched them do a neighborhood. They had 11 guys working it. At the end
of 3 days, they had signed up and installed just over 50 homes in a 200 home
subdivision with their alarm/home automation product. First guy (or two) is
sales, second set of 2-3 guys is install (they had 3 crews), last guy is Q/A
and final follow-up. Most homes installed in <1hr. I was very impressed with
their speed of install...I watched them do it at my parents home.

Chuck

Sounds right. They bought a hardware company and use their own branded
equipment on the wireless side.

Today at lunch and they are beta testing 50 x 50 mbps wireless using a
fiber fed hub and then cover a neighborhood. Testing here and Utah somewhere.
They work for automation branch and didnt know particulars. Anyone hear about
