I have never had that problem.  If they are crimped right and you use the plug 
that matches the wire type they are pretty good.

I am not a fan.  Especially in an environment where wind could move wires or 
there is vibration etc.  And repeated punchdown wears out whatever the 
punchdown is attached to.

What do you guys think of punching down on radios, PoE, etc.? I saw a radio at 
WISPAPALOOZA that had you punch down the wires onto the radio's circuit board. 
Seems like it would cut down on any issues of the RJ45 coming undone. What 
pitfalls would there be?
