Some people make it a habit to mess with their routers and such. In
some of those cases, we have to go an extra step and issue their IP as a
/30, and only give them one IP. Then they will know from the get-go
that they've screwed it up (again).

That's the way we do it. I wish it was the default, but the
software in the SM gives you a warning that you can safely ignore.
