Assuming you set the DHCP pool to just 1 address to insure they always get the
DMZ address, keep in mind if the customer buys a new router (or hooks up their
computer directly for testing), the SM will have to be rebooted or power cycled.

Some people make it a habit to mess with their routers and such. In some of
those cases, we have to go an extra step and issue their IP as a /30, and only
give them one IP. Then they will know from the get-go that they've screwed it
up (again).

Harsh perhaps.

That's the way we do it. I wish it was the default, but the software in
the SM gives you a warning that you can safely ignore.

So.. we want to DMZ the first IP from the SM's NAT so the Router is DMZ'd
but when I set DMZ IP to .2 it gives a warrning conflict that it is in the DHCP
Pool.. am I doing somthing wrong or is it just a security warrning?

      Thanks,
