I picked up a Team Losi rtr nitro truck, which was friggin awesome, but was
a bit tricky to get started sometimes - I'm not great with the carb
settings.
For cheap/easy fun, these are great:

You can load them up with all the standard motors, servos, electronics,
etc, and they're dead simple to work on.
