Usually anything gig or less is using MPLS or CE. 10G is using waves. The
former is more work than the latter.

Anything through the telco will be breaking it off in your backside.

Depending on where you're at, 10G isn't much more than 1G.

Shoot for 10G and make em squirm to get you what you need.
I predict the 1G dia we have now with one of our carriers is only going to last
till the end of the year and we
will be scrambling to get more.

We are doing 3x1, 5x5 and 10x10 anything above this turns into a custom plan.
I just loaded up our first 3.65 AP with 45+ subs and no worries on it yet.
Our 5Ghz Aps are not even breathing hard yet.
My biggest issue is just closing the gaps in coverage and ensuring our backbone
capacity is large enough to support the traffic.

I am currently working a project with Level3 and Megapath to get us a 10G
transport to Dallas.

I hope everyone here is responding to the call to action so we can be heard I
am so sick of getting pushed around by someone sitting in a cushy office not
knowing exactly what those rule sets are going to do the little guy.
I just wonder if he knows who this is going to benefit? Besides his pocket
book.

I have rallied 2 other wisps besides aristotle here in arkansas to also respond
that are not members or are listed on any map.
If you know any of your neighbors even if you dont like em I suggest making
them aware of this issue.

We are planning on introducing a “Video Streaming” type package whereas the
customer pays us an extra $15-20 / mo for unlimited streaming with data in that
classification not being counted towards their GB usage….possibly we may just
target NETFLIX in this increased fee.
