All too true Chuck. All our sales people are veterans of the business, so
know better (or should). Certainly I can get in to trouble, as aggressive
as I am. Generally I know what I don't know, but do step in it on occasion.
When I do, I own it. If one is going to fail, do it spectacularly and
publicly, as grace and respect is given even more to those with the cahones
to publicly own their failures.

I also advocate very stridently for our engineers (and work hard to protect
and edify them). Every engineer interfacing with customers deserves to also
be bonused on commercial success and that's how we roll.
