I use something called Classic Start Menu. Don't know if that's the same as Classic Shell. But once I got it installed I stopped swearing at Bill Gates (and Steve Balmer)

Classic Shell is what I like to use.. That fixes 99% of win 8 if you don't

I'm setting up a new Desktop with Windows 8. I've only used it on my netbook
before, but it's much smaller screen. What 'Must have's' Do I need to get it
functional as a good desktop? I'm guessing some sort of start menu replacement.

Or should I just wipe it and put Windows7 on it?

Nate
