Seth, we just did a ftth install using a FTC11 last week. It worked fine. We installed it indoors like a wall jack. Nice package. Wish it had option for a dc jack power instead of POE only.
Also, it does support gig on fiber and 100meg on copper so I suppose it is really a switch. Important if you are using it for customer handoff point.
