What if Comcast bought them?

What if BAE bought them?

What if Whole Foods bought them?

What if the upper management flew to Tahiti to have an orgy with snow leopards?

What if an anorexic rhinoceros just outright stole the company?

But what if JAB bought Bertram Wireless? Maybe not including Powercode.

Procera was recently bought by a private equity firm, not sure if that’s
relevant.

Jab sold it to them in the first place. It used to be PowerNOC, then JabNOC,
then Powercode. They have moved on to CSG, SugarCRM, Zabbix, and some custom
written software. They would have no interest in buying it back.

Truly my personal guess about what is going on after all of the events lately
with powercode is that someone bought them up. This would be something that I
am sure would make any employee rethink there career options. Just by the way
they seem to be leaving and very open about accepting new offers, but not
certain what they are wanting to do going on. I have been in the position of
buyout and mergers from large companies before. It usually means that key
employees get large bonuses to stick around and support transitioning. I as
well had to decide to stick around or leave and have done both.

Well I heard they were gearing up for bigger things. The reasons for them
leaving were private and really don't matter as far as the product is
concerned. They both were there for a while so maybe a change in life is good
for them both. Powercode is in a pretty good state at the moment but I just
hope they can hire someone SOON.. a ringer who'll give Powercode the same care
and consideration that Simon and Jacob gave it.

The good thing about it is there wont be any safe major updates for a while
so everybody can focus on their summer projects, but with these two gone,
there is no way the company vision wont change. With simon there it had
become a beautiful usercentric product.
