I ended up with the original box fan, a barn fan, two corded drills and an
angle grinder... 35.8%. We'll see what that does. Should end up somewhere
around 20 - 25 minutes.

I found a drill... Only uses half of the power when just free spinning... Off
to find other assorted tools that I can wire-tie on.

If this is an older unit, I believe you need to put it under 50% + load, and
run it until it shuts down. A small portable heater works well for this.

I changed out some batteries in a Smart-UPS 3000. I have a standard box fan on
it for a constant load during runtime calibrations. The web interface reports
10 minutes of usage at 4.6% load. If I unplug it from the wall, it'll run for
about 3 hours. I've done this cycle two or three times and I can't get it to
report any more than 10 minutes. it has the newest firmware available.

Ideas on how to fix this?
