We are seeking feedback from people that are using fiber up the tower instead
of Cat5. Interested to know what equipment (power) you are running at the
base, and what equipment (switches, routers, POE, Ethernet protection etc.)
that you have at the top.

How is it working for you? Has having everything at the top proved to be much
more stable? It's kinda scary to change from our current way of doing it, but
power surges are kicking are butt, clobbering radios on the Ethernet side
(mostly ePMP).

Looking forward to some good feedback.

Thanks!

Paul
