As far as UBNT AC they were not available when we did this link and I got the link as a door prize at AF. Also I have tried AC links and I don't see substantially more bandwidth in real tcp throughput on them vs eptp I think we got 115 mb each way but they are using much larger dishes. Yep, I'm pretty sure it doesn't use fixed frames in ePTP mode... trying to sync that sounds like it'd end up like airmax sync. 2.5ms frames make sync a lot more useful for ptp though.
