Hey Gino,

B11 uses dual polarity 40 or 80 MHz channel pairings. For max performance, you
should get a dual polarity 80 MHz channel pair.

We are allowing TDMA inside FDD channel pairs so operators can dynamically
allocate spectrum based on their network traffic instead of being stuck to a
50% Tx and 50% Rx split. To use this feature, you will need to do twice the
coordination since you will have both channels within your pair transmitting or
receiving simultaneously.

We understand that spectrum isn’t always available. In congested areas, you can
use our TD-FD mode. It does not require dual coordination so you would
coordinate like any normal licensed link, but it will half your max potential
throughput.
Thanks,
Ryan

Jaime, can you clarify the spectrum needed for running this units to full
capacity? For full capacity I need 320 mhz worth of spectrum? 2 80 mhz channels
in both pol ?

We have a number of specific dish mount questions we’ve been getting from users
(REMEC included) about whether we can work on adapter plates to keep dishes up
on towers that are similar existing waveguide type.

Most of these deployed already are single pol though, so ideally we’d be able to
get the antenna brands to build us an adapter, but if not we’ll see if we can
partner after market if at all possible if it’s technically feasible.

Can’t promise anything yet, but I’ll update the group as soon as we have
something more to share. We completely understand nobody likes replacing a big
dish up high on a tower, costly and time consuming.

Will it work with a REMEC standard 4' 11 GHz dish (cylindrical center waveguide
slip fitting, four latches for tension clips on the four corners)? I may not
want to use one of the Jirous dishes.

Mimosa guys watching the list, can you please post a high-res photo of what the
radio head to dish physical interface looks like? <
