Just a quick (minor) correction to this… you’ll use the same adapter plate, we’ll send you screws that will accommodate the hole tolerance and be the right size for the tapped holes in the 450i housing. This is all in relation to the 5 GHz 450 to 450i AP transition though.
For 3 GHz, I would agree with Mark and Daniel. It’s probably easier to mount the AP separately, but you can certainly re-use the antenna. I don’t know of anything ever made for the 3.65’s. The antenna is identical I believe, so it’s probably a matter of ordering just the mounting plate. I don’t know that it has a individual part number. So far I think we have just used the stand-alone mounting brackets for the 450AP’s that we don’t mount directly to the antenna.
