I went through a couple, eventually settled on a Sig P238, specifically
http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p238-equinox.aspx
My reasons were:
1) Reliable - never had an issue with Sigs
2) Size - A lot of 'carry' guns I looked at had overly long grips and
required you to wear baggy clothes to properly conceal. I can wear this
with an IWB holster even in a pretty fitting shirt.
3) Caliber - 380 lets me carry 7+1 in a very small form factor and I'm
fine with HP 380 as a round.
4) Gun in general is very nice - has really good night sights (a lot of
the sights on the super compact handguns are terrible), pretty easy to
strip down. I can shoot it just about as well as my full size
Springfield XDM, which is pretty good for a tiny gun, I think.

I am getting my CC permit (Florida) in a week or so. I took an
absolutely excellent class from the main trainer at the Brevard county

Now, I am looking for an excellent CC gun to use, as my long barrel
Colt 38 is not a good fit for that.
I am certain that this group probably has a LOT of expertise (and many
opinions) on THE gun to use.
