Based on the configuration examples I've seen, the 9HPn signal is downconverted from 2.4 GHz. It is in a metal enclosure, but I'm not sure how much 2.4 finds its way out. I'm under the impression the bandwidth can be set as low as 2.5 MHz and on up in 0.5 MHz increments.
I'm in a very hilly low density rural area. My PMP100 installations have only a few customers (~5 per AP) and I'm not using sync in most locations. They are in areas where the only competition is DSL and satellite. I suspect collocation would require huge separation, shielding, or filtering... but I'm really hoping to find some actual experiences before taking the time to experiment with it myself. I've heard particularly negative things about the UBNT 900 MHz.
