[AFMUG] Ground Conductor Size

Is there a chart of 'rule of thumb' for ground conductor size?  I'm 
guessing that like a little satellite dish non-pen, would need a smaller 
ground wire than say a non-pen Sled that can hold a full Cell Array.  
Does it have somethign to do with the amount of conductive surface area?
