Use your label maker to print a “man rated” sticker prior to any climbing.

We have a job site across the street from the main OSHA headquarters for
California apparently.

The tower on the site passes all the normal visual health checks, and has
climbing pegs installed. The climber was using appropriate PPE. However, since
the tower did not have a plaque affixed to it indicating it was man-rated, they
argue that we did not know if the tower was rated for climbing. I’ve never
heard this requirement, I’ve always gone with if it passes the health check,
and has a ladder or pegs installed, it was engineered to allow climbing at the
time of installation.

How does one get themselves on the OSHA radar?

I have one in word that I am pretty sure I gave to WISPA but I have never
been able to find anything I gave them anywhere.

Has anyone created one of these? I’ve got OSHA requesting a copy of ours.
I’d like to “borrow” someone’s if they have one.
