...and the processor in the 2 is even faster. The original Turbo had the
highest specs of the day and even the critics said its specs would still be
advanced one year later. And yes, the screen is excellent. I put this 2 side by
side with my wife's iPhone 6+ and it is not even close. The resolution and
sharpness is so good on this phone it makes hers look washed out.

I have the Droid Turbo 1, not 2 and it is the best phone I've had. Super fast,
great screen, BEST battery of any phone. I've had HTC M8, Droid Maxx, LG G2,
Galaxy S6, iPhone 5, 5s and 6 plus many other and the Droid Turbo is my
favorite so far.

Get the 1st or 2nd version.

Yeah, me either except for the spontaneous reboots. Sometimes it will go
several days without doing it and then it will do it several times a day. I'm
clumsy and have fat fingers and the virtual keyboard is difficult for me.

Yes. Love it, Don't want to give it up.

Is yours the one with the keyboard that slides out?

Nate Burke wrote:
Never had a problem with it. Only time it reboots is when it thinks it's run
out of battery.

Walk outside with it and the battery drops to 5%.

Droid Turbo meets those. I primarily want battery life and that thing

Sony phone where they were using it outside, then washed it off
under a faucet, but I can't remember which model it was.

Some things that would be nice to have:
Rugged, survive a drop from a couple feet while working outside.
Decent screen size, and daylight viewable.
    Good battery, especially in cold.
    Good Speaker phone
Minor weather resistance, splashes etc, not submersion.

I like how the CAT phones look http://www.catphones.com but with
that size of screen, I'm afraid if you need a keyboard, you'll
lose too much screen real estate.

Any Brands/models I need to go check out?
