Awesome. I hope it fixes these two I have. And how ever many more I end
up finding that I didn't know about.

That sounds like the same problem I just found on an SM with a D0 MAC,
it would crash within a few seconds of starting a bandwidth test to
the Mikrotik behind it. After I sent the crashlog to Cambium and got
confirmation that it was memory related, I loaded the magic firmware,
and it seems to be stable now.

OK but... I'd think it's more than a coincidence that I'm having
strange lockup/reboot issues with these radios since they're
00:04:56:CE+ MACs. And only those radios. These are just
regular/non-GPS 5GHz connectorized. And they're the newest ones
we've bought. So, I'm gonna go with.. yeah.
We swapped the first one a couple weeks ago with a C6 ESN. I could
start a MT TCP bandwidth test and it would crash within 5 seconds
of starting the upload test. Same cable, RJ45s, injector, etc. and
the replacement works fine. When we first discovered the problem,
the uptime was several hours and none of the GUI stats would load
and it was just acting funny. I was sitting there watching it and
the customer would start a Facebook or Google Drive or something
upload and it would crash. That's when I started debugging with
the MT bandwidth test.
This second one is now over an hour away so we're just going to
head there with a complete spare 110 kit with a C8 ESN radio. I
can't risk loading a beta firmware remotely.

That's not the cold memory bug, I don't think. That is some
other bug that may be resolved in 2.6, though...

Guess we had more than that one. Found another one that we
did for a PTP link between buildings for a customer and it's
acting stupid too. CF ESN. The other side is a C8 and it
works fine. Ethernet stops passing traffic, GUI doesn't
display all items, etc. Same thing the other one was doing.

Looking through stock, this is the only radio I have with
newer than CF ESNs. I think this was a Force110 kit we
picked up from Baltic. I have a small stash of integrated
5GHz and connectorized radios and they're all <C9 ESNs. We
don't use a whole lot of them, just some PTP and very small
POPs.

I think the link is somewhere in this thread... otherwise,

I wish we only had one... I've found 16 so far... and I
suspect a few more are still going to show up.

I would concur with that, I only have 1 AP with

one go about getting this new magic firmware?

Well, that explains the problem I have with a
00:04:56:CF. Just a standard 5GHz connectorized radio
used as an SM. It reboots under heavy uplink traffic
in cold weather. Awesome. Now how many more do I have
like this.

That would make sense... all of ours that I've seen

From what I heard this morning I'm confident.
And surprised it can be fixed in software.

Cambium knows about it and they have

I don't buy the connector thing,
at least not in all cases. I'm
looking at the output of "debug
crashlog" on one of the affected
radios, and it does look like
it's crashing hard. I don't see
how it would be a connector
issue. Also, we have a few sites
with zero issues.. Same firmware
and everything.
