We are self financing and building as much as we can afford. We looked into
subcontracting the work and found it to be cost prohibitive. We are doing all
the work in house including directional drilling.

If you are comfortable working on older equipment and mechanically inclined so
you can fix stuff, you can probably get set up with a decent drill rig, big
plow, drop plow, couple trucks and trailers for around $100k.

How are all of you fiber guys paying to get this stuff in the ground ? All self
financing ?

What is a good estimate to bore say 100 or 500 houses passed in a suburban
neighborhood that's all asphalt and concrete sidewalks with ~5000sqft lots for
pon? I know it could vary vastly but just a ball park ? $1000 per house passed ?
