I don’t want temporary anymore. I want me Syncinjector to provide timing like
the settings say.

For a temporary solution you can just use internal timing. I'm sure the water
tank blocking GPS is isolating the other sector enough.

If the ePMP's GPS already isn't tracking satellites, I'm not sure that removing
the GPS antenna is going to do you much good... the onboard GPS will still be
there without it.

Ive waited upwards of 15 minutes for it to connect. Ive chosen CMM and rebooted
it but the Cambium GPS is not tracking satellites so it will not connect via
CMM setting.

As soon as we climb it and remove it I’ll update you all.

I don't think it jumps between sources. The configuration is for one or the
other. On the main page it'll say GPS sync up or CMM sync up.

So we’ve come to the conclusion that even if you’re using CMM as your timing
source the AP still continues to use the onboard gps if its plugged in.

We have 2 Aps on the same water tower. Both using CMM for their timing. Both of
them also have their Cambium supplied GPS antenna plugged in (emergencies).

One AP is running 2.4.3 works fine with GPS antenna plugged in and using CMM
for timing.

One AP is running 2.6 can’t see satellites because the tank is blocking its
view. Is on CMM but will not get timing from CMM no matter what I do.

Obviously our next step is to climb the water tank and remove the GPS antenna
so it stops confusing itself but it’s too windy today to climb.

If I’m using CMM for my timing why does it care about the cambium supplied GPS
antenna? It should be disabled when I switch it to CMM. I’ve put 2 new Aps on
it with same results.

Conclusion: 2.6 is confused by having 2 timing sources even though you choose
one. If you’re using CMM for your timing for the love of all things fluffy
don’t plug in the Cambium supplied GPS antenna.
