I have no idea where I got this image, I thought it was official, but can’t

I have a very funny story about Everclear in my college days. It involved
golf, ambulance/hospital, football, ice pack, crutches, a police escort and a
bottle of Everclear. By the way, this all happened before the consumption of
any EC. Since this is a public mail list, you will just need to ask me to tell
the story the next time I see you. J

In my college days, if the goal was getting drunk, then the shortest/cheapest
way there was with Everclear (190 proof, or 95% ABV). It is illegal in many
states.

As I recall, back in my 1970s (pre mormon) college days, the best value

Seems like it was about $1.25 and one was all you needed.

Ah, yes, must use the correct terminology.

I remember when I was in college and the John Hancock Center was just built,
one of my buddies figured out you could buy a drink at the bar on the 96th
floor for about the same money as a ticket to the observation deck 2 floors
below, so off we went. One of us got a quizzical look when he ordered his
drink "with ice". Oh, you mean "on the rocks", I thought you said "with
  rice".

So "neat" or "on the rocks" it is. And shaken, not stirred.

Four Roses or Woodford Reserve, but I'll try anything. I also like Crown.
  Neat (no ice).

I'm a fan of Four Roses myself. I'd rather have it than Maker's Mark any day.
I
also enjoy it more than the smokey notes of Woodford Reserve.

  Blanton's is also quite good.

What about you Chuck, you're another Ky Boy. Any favorites?
