Point is that most, if not all, of the online search lists, or catalogs or whatever are still relatively easy to exploit. Google has gone through at least 5 or 6 major iterations of refining the way they search. I'm sure there will be more, because as soon as Google (and companies like Google) find a way to patch some of the exploits, other clever people will find a way to game the system.
