All we use is TnB Ty-Raps MX series with the steel tooth. Just need to be on the slightly careful side and not tighten them all to hell. If you're really paranoid, put down some decent electrical tape over the bundle and then the Ty-Rap over that.

Good point, tape is not tape is not tape. The cheap crap you find on sale is way different than a 3M 33+ or 88T good quality tape. They work when it is very cold and will stay there for years.

I would just leave it. On most small towers we use super 33 tape to hold cat5 to leg. 6 yrs in haven't seen a problem.

What size is the FM transmission line? If it's small
            enough, I'd just leave it.

I have a 100' tower that at the moment has about 25
cables coming down and all are secured with zip ties.
We have an FM transmitter that is coming down in the next
couple of weeks and I will have to remove most of the zip
ties to get to the Coax that is buried amongst our cables.
What do you all use to secure cable down a leg of tower,
now that I will basically get to start fresh?
