They were using the 4.0 beta when I got here, and it doesn't do that.
it does have other problems though. Gimme a call sometime and I'll give
you the skinny.

I don't remember, is it the things that were already down that pester
you on startup, or does it give you false negatives on startup?
I don't see much of this using the 4.0 beta, but I remember it from
the 3.x version.
