If there are not holes, is there a small screw type that is short and self-tapping? Not sure the best way to mount the ears if the holes for the ears don't exist on the switch. -----Original Message----- From: Af [mailto:af-boun...@afmug.com] On Behalf Of Chuck McCown Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2016 8:10 PM To: af@afmug.com Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Super long rack screw Add mounting ears farther back on the switch. -----Original Message----- From: Sterling Jacobson Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2016 7:57 PM To: 'af@afmug.com' Subject: [AFMUG] Super long rack screw This is really specific; don't ask why I need it :) But I need a standard rack threaded screw that looks like a 6 to 7 inch long motherboard standoff screw. So it would stand a 1U switch forward from the 19" rack about 6-7 inches. I tried standard rack standoff modules, but the space is too limiting.
