And damn it feels good to release a product that has all of it's capability on day 1 instead of day 450 right???? Also, weight is a factor at our building as the radio needs to mount high on a mast that isn't exactly stiff. Oh yeah, with Mimosa, we can use the TDWR spectrum and the 5.1 band as well. Big bonus. However, you all digress, I am still looking for an answer to the original question por favor. Thanks! No significant innovation there in ten years. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions Midwest Internet Exchange The Brothers WISP From: "Josh Luthman" < [email protected] > To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2016 10:25:26 PM Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Mimosa B5 speeds at other channel sizes. Err I meant ptp650 before. The ptp600 I'm told was actually surprisingly good at nlos. Recently installed the fiber modules to over come some cable noise due to a 5Kw radio station on same tower. We are maxed at 250Mb though and now purchasing the full key to open the radio up to allow a 30Mhz wide channel for some additional capacity while we get a new licensed link to offload traffic to a much larger capacity site we have. FYI love those optic dishes ;) I know price point might be an issue but consider we just put that 650 in less than 2yrs and already maxed it. Thank you cambium for fat Capacity Access points We just thought the 450 was hungry for bandwidth get your hands on some 450i.... OMG... stop the netflix or what ever video crud is out there sheesh.. If the Mimosa B5 says it does 500mbps one way at 80mhz, does that mean that at 40mhz it's 250mbps and at 20mhz it is 125mbps? Is there a handy chart or formula that I should be studying?
