We've painted lots of radios over the years. Just make sure the paint
doesn't have any metallic content if it has an integrated patch antenna.
Also, pick your paint based on the background as viewed from the ground.
If the background is sky, you'll be best with a gray or light blue
color. If the radio is mounted low, with the house color/trim in the
background, use one of those colors, or as close as you can get.
