I'm of the same opinion, however we are still 5+ years away from that, at a 
minimum. Ten if you want ala-carte ESPN.

There are downsides to the solution he has as well. It all depends on how much 
control you need, and if X channel is important to your subscriber base or not. 
It also depends on the feature set you want to offer your customers (to truly 
compete with cable cos).
