[AFMUG] UBNT 900 Rockets with non UBNT yagis

I'm wondering if we would get a signal improvement with a 900 mhz 
Ubiquiti Rocket by using two separate 17 db yagis instead of the 
integrated unit for which they are designed.  Has anyone tried that?
