I will jump in here, I am unhappy with Mimosa because they utterly
failed as a backhaul; at least here anyway.
Their "adaptive algorithm" bullshit will cause normally healthy links
passing 30-80 meg to modulate down to a
MAC TX/RX of like 6mbps/3mbps from something like 162/54.
Randomly, and for no particular reason. I will pull their last link
next week.
Oh and also they will might question your cabling if you ask for
support. I am moving to another vendor completely.

Why are you mad at Mimosa?

As much as I'm pissed with Mimosa right now, wouldn't this be a good
fit for the A5 as well?

The 450d doesn't come in 4 and 10, only 20Mb. Then loading 14.1.1+
will automatically upgrade them to 40Mb aggregate. Cambium
actually listened. The price ain't too bad for what you get either.

We use 450d and have been buying 20Meg units and upgrading to
unlimited when necessary.
When and how are they 40 Meg??
Thanks

A 450i AP or two and use the 450d SMs. They are 40 Meg with the
latest firmware.

But seriously I'd say two APs in 20 MHz. Or one in 40 MHz.

How many 450 APs would it take to give everyone a 30 Mbps
fiber experience?
Say everyone is doing a netflix each evening, so that is
going to be 2 APs minimum.
10 SMs per AP would probably do it?
What are 450 SMs and APs going for these days?
