Well, I would say for a gamble of $400 for a playable guitar, that may be worth $4k... go for it... worse case would be that you have to rebuild something that looks like a '69... FOR $400...

Volume pot is noisy but nice tone even with old flat wound heavy gauge strings. Thinking of buying it and checking it out. It's body is worn pretty good...
