Legacy isn't always bad. Look at traffic control.

I have a good buddy who has been a air traffic controller for many years. He
was one of four guys brought into Baton Rouge after Katrina to work 18-20 hours
for a month straight. He says you done't even want to know about the "legacy"
equipment in ATC.

They keep all their servers in the same central location?? You would think
someone the size of Delta would know better. They should look into this new
thing called "the cloud"... I've heard it's an up-and-coming new technology
that might really help them. LOL

rebooted, still waiting for the last 100 to have the whole system fully
functional”

Many running on XP I am told. “Server has been up for 6.3 years, never reboot
this server...”
