Traffic lights?

Metro traffic control itself (stop lights, etc) is all done via computer algo,
sensors, and traffic modeling now. It also often takes into account bus
schedules, work days, events, and train traffic (if it blocks major roadways).

So what makes traffic lights not efficient?

You can still make a fire rubbing two sticks together, and that will work
forever.

    It's not efficient though.

You put up a light/module and it runs 24/7 for decades. Sounds pretty

Legacy isn't always bad. Look at traffic control.

They keep all their servers in the same central location?? You
would think someone the size of Delta would know better. They should look into
this new thing called "the cloud"... I've heard it's an up-and-coming new
technology that might really help them. LOL
