All the facts really say is that it's not as easy as they thought. I think almost anybody who ever started an ISP found out it wasn't as easy as they thought, and that plans don't survive contact with reality.

That number they report is meaningless.



I bet their take in Provo is very high.



Also, it just doesn’t take a lot of employees to run fiber once it’s installed correctly.

The layoff may not actually be indicative of anything other than the job is done and now they maintain.



I call BS on this article.
