Someone please explain what a "fiber optic antenna" is?
/"Alphabet is also actively exploring how it can solve the cost of
laying cable through using less expensive technology and existing
infrastructure. Last month Google acquired Webpass, a company that uses
fiber optic antennas to facilitate high-speed internet."/

All the facts really say is that it's not as easy as they thought.
I think almost anybody who ever started an ISP found out it wasn't
as easy as they thought, and that plans don't survive contact with
reality.
Which part is BS?

I would like to know what their take rate is in percentage for a
given area(s).
That number they report is meaningless.
I bet their take in Provo is very high.
Also, it just doesn’t take a lot of employees to run fiber once
it’s installed correctly.
The layoff may not actually be indicative of anything other than
the job is done and now they maintain.
I call BS on this article.
